John 14:1 (AMP) “Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me.”

The Great Commission instructs us to go out into the world and make disciples of all men. However, in fulfilling this assignment, we sometimes burn out when we fail to go back to our Master for nourishment.

Unfortunately, going on with our own strength can bring us to a place where we expose ourselves to unnecessary ridicule, struggles and tribulations. And if care is not taken, one may be tempted to give up going about the Father’s business, and may even end up with complaints and bitter experiences.

Refuse to burn out. It doesn’t matter what you have carried till now; cast them all unto Jesus and do it His way, keep believing in God and see Him turn things around. Refuse to burn out. It doesn’t matter what you have carried till now; cast them all unto Jesus and do it His way.

When you hold on to God:

#1. He continually renews your strength. The Bible tells us in Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ that, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Your strength is renewed when you wait on the Lord.

#2. He orders your steps.
A man who holds on to God is a man whose steps are ordered by the Lord.
In Proverbs‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬) King Solomon tells us that, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Hold on to God and He would order your steps.

#3. Your works are done to His Glory.
When we wait on the Lord what ever we do is done to please Him and give Him glory. The Bible says in ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10:31‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬) that, “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Precious one, it is easy to sometimes feel overwhelmed by the pressures of your assignment and God given responsibility, but keep believing in God and see Him turn things around.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I go about doing Your business, may I not exhaust myself by my actions, but always look to You in Jesus’ name , Amen.

Refuse to burn out. It doesn’t matter what you have carried till now; cast them all unto Jesus and do it His way.
