Reach Out to the Unreached Charles Agyinasare

Mark 16:15 (NKJV) And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

A pastor met an old business friend in a big department store and went into his car to talk to him on the subject of his salvation. The pastor said: “I have talked beds and carpets and bookcases with you, but I have never talked my business with you. Would you give me a few minutes to do so?”

The minister took out his New Testament and showed him passage after passage which brought before that business man his need to accept Jesus Christ.

Finally, tears began to roll down his cheeks, and he said to the pastor: “I’m 70 years of age. I was born in this city, and more than a hundred ministers, and more than five hundred church officers have known me as you have, to do business with, but in all these years you are the only man who ever spoke to me about my soul.”

Precious one, Jesus Christ on His departure charged us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And we need not take this charge lightly. Here are 3 reasons why we must reach out to the unreached:

1. Jesus Christ commanded it. In Matthew 28:16-20 the Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” It is a priority because Christ commanded it and we must do it.

2. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. There is one way to heaven: Jesus and there is one job to do: proclaim Jesus.
Salvation is exclusive and Jesus Christ could not have made it clearer in John 14:6 (NKJV) “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Go out today and tell the world of the only way.

3. It brings eternal reward. In fact, Apostle Paul believed that his reaching out would result in great eternal reward as he maintained in 1 Thessalonians 2:19 (AMP) that, “For who is [the object of] our hope or joy or our victor’s wreath of triumphant celebration [when we stand] in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?” Great eternal rewards await every soul winner.

Precious one, we need to reach out to people like the 70-year-old business man who had never been reachedvout to. There is a call to reach the unreached. Reach out today

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may many come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as I reach out to the unreached in Jesus’ name, Amen.
