«Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says.

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?  I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? » Luke 18: 1-8, NIV

Why so much discouragement among many Christians ?! The Lord Jesus himself asked you to always pray and not to let go. If you pray for something and you don't yet see the fulfillment of it, it doesn't mean that God is not going to do it. Insist, keep praying and He will certainly do it. The fact that the Lord Jesus is telling you not to get discouraged means that you will often have good enough reasons to get discouraged as soon as you pray. But every reason to be discouraged must be an additional reason to continue praying, to double your efforts in prayer.

In the story above, Jesus even explained that the judge was unrighteous, that is, he was an unjust person. And if this wicked judge finally gave in to the lady's request, why wouldn't God give in to your request, you for whom he sacrificed his son? God loves you and you know it. He will not fail to answer you. Show God your determination from the bottom of your heart to get what you asked for. Do not let go, continue, pray until he realizes what you are asking him to do.

Warfare Prayer : Every power of discouragement sent against me is bound in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Request: Lord, grant me grace to persevere in prayer and not to grow weary.
