1 Corinthians 4:2 (NIV) “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.”

Loyalty has become a very rare commodity these days, and many lack it in their line of work. And yet, the Bible makes it clear that, it is required of a believer to be faithful or loyal.

Loyalty isn't coerced or imposed; so if you are not giving it freely then you must check yourself.

I visited a board member of Pepsi Cola; he asked for my preferred soft drink and I said, “Coca Cola”. He replied, “It is a show of disloyalty for me to serve on the board of Pepsi and to offer you Coke”.

Here are 3 ways to stay faithful in your workplace?

1. Be truthful
When you buy things for the company, don't inflate the prices for your personal benefit. Proverbs 20:17 reveals to us, “Stolen bread tastes sweet, but it turns to gravel in the mouth.”

2. Don't exploit your boss
Treat your job as your own, remembering “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?” (Luke 16:12)

3. Esteem your leaders
Respect and appreciate the authority of your boss irrespective of his age or qualification. Don't contradict him or disregard his instructions. Romans 13:1 commands us, saying, “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”

Precious one, you don't need to steal from your boss to be successful . Be faithful in your work, and you would be found worthy in the eyes of God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to stay faithful in whatever has been entrusted in my hands, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
