- They want their will, NOT God's will. If you are child of God, the MOST IMPORTANT THING is the WILL OF GOD. Many people want to fulfil their own will other than God's will for them, because, when they look at God's will, they see it as a long way and prefer to take a shortcut. Proverbs 14:12 says : «There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.». There is a story of a lady who prayed for a husband and God told her, her husband is supposed to be her gateman. That was God's will for her.
- Lazy in seeking a Spiritual solution. That is the problem of so MANY men and women. They see Prayer and Fasting as a waste of time. People see Fasting and Prayer as Old School. When I went to propose to my wife, the brethren where she was living did not know me therefore they counselled her not to accept. They said to her : «How can you accept a proposal of somebody you don't really know ? He is an itinerant Evangelist, He does not even have a regular income... ». However I like what Mama (my wife who was not yet my wife then) did. She fasted and prayed with a friend for 3 days and God convinced her that I am THE GUY. She accepted my proposal, however due to the many persecutions of people trying to convince her that I was not the right man for her, she sent me a letter rejecting my proposal again. Therefore I also fasted and prayed. (You must learn how to fast and Pray). During my prayers I presented 3 ladies to God and asked who is to be my wife. One morning God gave me a dream. By the time i finished interpreting the dream I knew Vivian (my wife) was the one. And here we are, happily Married.
Don't be lazy at seeking spiritual solutions through Prayer and Fasting because Marriage is one of the institutions the Devil attacks the most. Recently there is a message circulating of 25 so called married ladies who claimed to have cheated on their husband. When I receive the message and started reading and got to the 5th message, I STOPPED READING. I REALIZED THAT IT WAS A LIE, an attack on marriages to make husbands think that their wives are misbehaving. It's a calculated attack by the devil. It is not true, it is Satanic. Because the devil knows, if marriages are successful he is in trouble. Women are mostly faithful. If the Devil can succeed in making us believe that most ladies are unfaithful, then many men will become homosexuals, and women lesbians and that is the purpose.

If you are a man, don't let any of those stories influence your decision otherwise you will walk in suspicion. I don't feel intimidated when my wife is talking with somebody, I am assured, she is a faithful woman. Have an assurance your spouse is faithful. What you are afraid of is what will happen to you. Job 3:25. So do not be afraid, have an assurance, surround your spouse with faith and see what God will do !!! The focus of Satan is on marriage, most challenges young people are facing are Satanic orchestration and that is why we will come against every Satanic orchestration ! Whatever is stopping your breakthrough (in marriage) from coming, today in the name of Jesus we will destroy it.
During a teaching service a sister asked me : Bishop what about if you have prayed and followed all the principles yet no man has ever said I love you. My answer : It's the reason why we must pray more, if prayer can change everything, then prayer can change it for you.
I know brothers who have proposed to 3 different ladies at 3 different time and were rejected. Whatever is following that is causing sisters not to accept your proposal, we are coming against it and we will destroy it's power in Jesus' name. Bible says : Marriage is honorable. And if Marriage is honorable and you are single and not celebate, may God make this honorable thing happen to you.
