Psalms 91:11-12 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Angels are spiritual beings and ministering spirits created by God to serve Him. But one of their functions is to defend and protect God’s children. As we pray, they carry our intercession to the Father, and our prayers are brought to the throne of God.
Angels strengthen us in our weakness. You can access angel assistance by :Binding and loosing, Living a holy life, and Being hospitable.Furthermore, angels strengthen us in our weakness. They ministered to Jesus when He dwelt among us, and they can minister to us in the same way. As a believer, you have the power to activate angelic assistance in your life. You can access this help in times of need by:
#1. Binding and loosing.
“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).
If we understand the principle of binding and loosing, we would be able to bind evil spirits and loose angels to work on our behalf.
#2. Living a holy life.
“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them” (Psalm 34:7).
If you honour sin, God’s angels cannot work on your behalf. This is because they are holy beings and abhor sin as much as God does.
#3. Being hospitable.
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2).
Be hospitable and generous when it is smart to do so; be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Above all, let the Holy Spirit lead you.
Precious one, as you perform your duties today, may the angels of God be sent on assignment for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I activate angelic assistance today, cause me to accomplish the assignment You have given me, in Jesus’ name. Amen
