«But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?…» - Matthew 20:22
There is a price to pay to gain access to the anointing. Everyone who gains access to the anointing has paid the price. Jesus said, «Any man who comes after me must take up his cross and pay the price and follow me.» To follow the anointed you will have to take up the cross that he carried. James and John wanted to sit on the right hand of Jesus. Jesus simply asked a question:
… Are you able to drink from the bitter cup of suffering I am about to drink ? Matthew 20:22, NLT
People who have no time to spare for the most important treasure will never receive it. Many people can spend hours watching television and listening to the news ten times a day. But these same people have no time to watch anointed videos. People spend hours on useless socialising but have no time to socialise with God. I sometimes marvel at people who are not prepared to wait to see the anointed and to interact with him. Only those who have made time and spent precious hours waiting for the anointed and his anointing are worthy to receive it.
Are you prepared to pay the price and give quality time to the anointed for his anointing ? Are you prepared to lower yourself and ask for prayer? Are you prepared to lower yourself and sit in a conference to learn what you do not know? Are you prepared to make yourself a servant to someone whom you once thought was an equal?
