Do you want to do great things for God? It will come about through the influence of the Holy Spirit. The sweet influence of the Holy Spirit upon Othniel enabled him to deliver the people of God in war. Othniel overcame his enemy Chushanrishathaim by the power and influence of the Holy Spirit.
Through the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit you will gather many people together for a good cause. With the power of the Holy Spirit, men gathered around Gideon to help him fight the war.
But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him. And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them. - Judges 6:34-35
Have you wondered why people are not gathering to listen to you in your church? When the influence of the Holy Spirit in your life is stronger than the influence of the spirit of the world, men will gather to hear what you have to say.
Through the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit you will have supernatural strength for great accomplishments. Samson had supernatural strength when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. He killed lions: Judges 14:5-6. He killed many men at the same time: Judges 14:19. He broke ropes: Judges 15:14.
