Proverbs 3:5 Kjv Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Trust God - Charles AgyinasareCharles Spurgeon once recommended that, “You either trust God up to the hilt, or else not to trust at all. There is no logical standing place between the two.

Indeed, the act of trusting in God is all or none. The same is true for believing in Him. Sometimes trusting Him completely like that can be tough. But, like Spurgeon recommended, we need to build our trust in God to the peak. It is when we do this that we see extraordinary results in our lives as Christians.

This reminds me of Apostle Peter when Jesus invited him to take a walk with Him while the tempest raged. He trusted Jesus and, as a result, did what his peers had never done. But his faith dwindled at the sight of the circumstances around him.

Precious one, when you trust God you keep your eyes on Him and not on your surroundings. Here are 3 reasons why you should put your trust in Him:

#1. God changes not. Man changes based on the happenings around him, but God is the same yesterday, today and will forever be who He is. The Bible says in

Psalm 118:9, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.”

#2. God is omniscient but man is limited in his knowledge. God is all-knowing and it pays to trust in Him as He knows the end from the beginning. Hebrews 4:13 says

“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

#3. God cannot forget His promise but men can easily forget their promise. The Scripture encourages us in

Isaiah 49:15-16 Kjv, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”

Precious one, trusting in God pays, so just put all your trust in Him today. .

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I trust in You completely, help me to accomplish great things, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
