“Blessed are they which hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Stir up interest and hunger in the Holy Spirit by talking and preaching about the Holy Spirit. You can stir up interest in anything by talking about it. Have you noticed that you become hungry when you talk about food? Have you noticed that when you talk about America your interest in America increases? Have you noticed that your interest in sex increases as you talk about it?

When pastors preach about money, prosperity and finances, their congregation develops an interest and hunger for money. The reason why modern churches are filled with many greedy, covetous and money-loving Christians is that we the pastors are constantly teaching on how and why you must be rich! Similarly, talking about the Holy Spirit stirs up a hunger and interest in the things of the Spirit. Do not be surprised when there are manifestations of the Spirit in ministries that preach and teach about the Holy Spirit. They are stirring up interest in the Holy Spirit when they talk about the Holy Spirit, His gifts and His manifestations.

Do you want manifestations of the Holy Spirit? Do you want the sweet influences of the Holy Spirit to increase in your life? Then start talking and preaching about it! You will create a genuine hunger for these things. The hunger you create will result in the blessing of being filled. The blessing of being hungry is that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
