God’s favour will change your life, and you already have it! 
Here are 4 points to access the favour of God each and every day.
How would your life look if you were surrounded, all day and every day, by God’s favour? How different would things be if doors opened for you, and you walked through each one covered with God’s favour? Would your actions and attitudes in every situation be any different if you knew beyond any doubt that success lies ahead because you are one of God’s favourites? Would you find the courage to lay down your anxieties and fears? Of course, you would!
The truth is God’s favour will change your life! In this article, I’m going to give you four points to help you access God’s favour each and every day. Are you ready? Let’s get started!
1. You Already Have God’s Favor. Many Christians believe they have to somehow earn the favour of God, but the truth is, we already have His favour. God saved us because of His favour toward us.
Ephesians 2:8 tells us, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” (NKJV).
Simply put, grace is favour. God’s favour is the power that changes things for us. First and foremost, you and I are saved by His favour, and I’m not just talking about going to heaven when we die. To be saved means to be delivered, protected, preserved, healed and made whole.
God’s favour covers every area of our lives! By His favour, He has taken care of everything we will ever need—spirit, soul and body. His supernatural grace is so vast, the Bible says it is going to take all the ages to come for Him to show us all the riches of His grace in the kindness He’s given us in Christ Jesus (see Ephesians 2:7).
You may be thinking, Oh, I can’t wait until I get to heaven, so I can experience the fullness of God’s favour!
You don’t have to wait! God is pouring out His favour on us right here and now. Even before we were born again, He was giving us His favour. While we were still rebelling against Him, “God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8).
It was God’s grace at work in your life that enabled you to be born again. From the moment you stepped into that new life—the moment you made Jesus Lord—God’s favour began working nonstop on your behalf. Being born again was just the starting place for His favour to pour out. And He will pour out grace and more favour to you every moment of your life if you’ll receive it!
Psalm 5:12 says, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour, You will surround him as with a shield” (NKJV).
That scripture is talking about the born-again child of God who serves Him. It is talking about you! Jesus made you righteous. When Jesus shed His blood, He made righteousness available to all mankind, and with it came the favour of God! God’s favour surrounds you constantly! You have been born again into His righteousness.
We should always see ourselves wrapped in God’s favour 24 hours a day. Every morning when you get up, throw off the covers and jump out of bed saying, “I am righteous; Lord, Your favour surrounds me like a shield.”
