#5 God speaks through an audible voice
Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth. Numbers 12:6-8
Occasionally, God speaks to His children through an audible voice. The Scriptures record that He spoke audibly to and, indeed, face-to-face with Moses, for we are told that Moses also saw a similitude or vision of the Lord.
As a leader appointed by God, Moses required direction from Him, and the Father chose to use two means of communicating His perfect will to Moses — audible voice and visions.
