John 15:16 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Fruitfulness means the ability to accomplish as much as possible with the resources God gives.
 
God expects fruitfulness from us and despises fruitlessness, as we read in the scripture above. And yet, in the view of God’s infinite bounty, I have concluded that many are operating several notches below their God-given capacities.
 
It is true that God expects faithfulness from us. But He is equally seeking those who would be fruitful. Interestingly, in the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:20-22, the ultimate sign of the servants’ faithfulness was their fruitfulness!

Would you pass the test if examined on the score of fruitfulness? If you fail to bear fruit in ministry, you are failing in your primary calling. 

May you not be referred to as the branch that bears no fruit.

Prayer:Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be as fruitful as you expect me to be.
