Jeremiah 29:13 "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."

In describing God, the prophet Isaiah said, “Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself” (Isaiah 45:15, NKJV). Even though He hides Himself, God made a way by which we can seek and find Him. This simply suggests that there are specific protocols by which we can gain access to the Father at all times without any exceptions.

Let’s examine some important protocols that will grant us access to the Father as espoused in the scriptures:

1. Having a heart of faith. Faith is so important in our quest to find God. Apostle James tells us that, anyone that comes to God without faith cannot receive anything from Him (James 1:7). Hebrews 11:6 adds, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is”. There is simply no other way to come to God, except in faith.

2. Living a life of continual praise, thanksgiving, and worship. A life of continual praise, thanksgiving, and worship gives us access to God. The Bible says in Psalms 100:4, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Praise, worship and thanksgiving is a powerful key which grants us access to God.

3. Continual prayer. Amidst many others who came to be baptised, it was only on Jesus that the heavens opened, and He heard the Father speak, because He was praying, not necessarily because He was the Son of God (Luke 3:21-22). Prayer grants us access to the Father.

Precious one, even though God hides Himself in a sense, by our faith, continual prayer, and living a life of praise, worship and gratitude to God, we are granted uninterrupted access to God. Whether or not we access God depends entirely on the believer and not God. Rise up and seek Him and you will find Him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I seek You by my faith, prayer and praise, grant me access to You and the treasures at Your right hand in Jesus’ name. Amen.
