Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV) “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.”

It is not possible for man to make any God-approved and truly fulfilling headway in life without the guidance of God.

It is not possible for man to make any God-approved and truly fulfilling headway in life without the guidance of God. We need to constantly rely on the guidance of God from start till we stand before the Lord in glory in the end.
 
Without the guidance of God, we risk becoming victims and casualties in life, being made minced meat of the devil.
 
It is not the plan of God to leave the believer to himself without guidance or direction in life. In Psalm 23:2b (NKJV), David said

“He leads me beside the still waters”

We are bonafide carriers of the name of the Lord, hence his plan to lead us through the turbulent conditions of this life until we stand before him.

There are many ways the Lord guides His children in life. Let us look at three of those ways

1. Guidance through His Word, God gives direction by the principal means of the scripture. Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

God’s word is the one true guide for our Christian walk on earth.
 
2. Guidance through the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Lord leads or guides us through the person of the Holy Spirit. One of the principal ministries of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is guidance. Romans 8:14 (NKJV)

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

God gives direction through the voice of the Spirit.
 
3. Guidance through visions and dreams. This what I call spectacular guidance. The Bible says in Numbers 12:6 (NKJV) that

“Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.”

Through dreams and visions He guides us, just as He said in the scripture above.
 
Precious one, many Christians have ended up defeated and in shame because of their failure to live by divine guidance or direction. But I pray that will not be your portion.
