Success God’s Way Charles Agyinasare

Jeremiah 1:4-5 Kjv Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Generally, there is a great misconception about what success actually entails. Many have regarded indices of success to include owning expensive worldly possessions, having a good job or even a big church. By God’s standards, success is achieving or accomplishing your God-given goals, plans, purposes and vision. However, by God’s standards, success is achieving or accomplishing your God-given goals, plans, purposes and vision.

At birth, God gives everyone a plan, blueprint and purpose. Your life should therefore be judged as successful when at the end of it, you are able to look back and see that these divine goals and purposes have been accomplished.

In order to succeed God’s way, you must have knowledge of the following principles:

#1. The importance of catching a vision.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish...” (Proverbs 29:18). The act of catching a vision requires the purposeful man to see what he has to achieve in much the same was as God sees it.

#2. The importance of associating with others.
One of the great mistakes that many people make is thinking the only way to succeed is to live life on their own. This is a flawed way of thinking. We must strive to follow the example of Aaron, who through association with Moses became the high priest of over 3.5 million people!

#3. The importance of remembering others.
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10). God does not forget us, and as His offspring, we should not forget those who helped us to get where we are.

Precious one, may you achieve your life’s purpose, and in the end boldly declare with the Apostle Paul, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day…” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to succeed according to Your will for my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
