Speak Faith Charles Agyinasare

Mark 11: 23 NKJV “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

In our desire to effect change in our lives, we need to remember that faith is a major ingredient. The opening scripture indicates that any godly desire can be materialized in prayer as long as there is faith.

The words you speak in faith have power to make your prayers powerful, give you victory, and release blessings. Therefore, speak in faith. Furthermore, the Bible makes it clear in 2 Corinthians 4:13-14 (NKJV) that faith is expressed through words. This simply means, what we say determines whether or not we can receive the results we are looking for. Here are three things to consider about what we say:

1. Prayer is useless with faithless speaking. The Bible says in James 1:6-7, "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” Since faith is expressed in what we speak, after praying, as long as we continue to speak the fact of our predicaments instead of God’s word, we can never see the fruits of our prayers

2. If you are defeated, it is with your lips, irrespective of your prayers. As believers, should never talk defeat, doubt or unbelief; we ought to talk faith, because whatever we speak carries power, and that’s what happens to us. Numbers 14:28 says "...As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you". No amount of prayer can change our situation as long as we continue to speak negatively.

3. Blessings and curses are activated by the words we speak.

Proverbs 18:21 NKJV “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Throughout the Scriptures, it is clear that blessings and curses are activated through words. Isaac, Jacob,  and many others all blessed or cursed their children by speaking into their lives.

Precious one, the words you speak in faith have power to make your prayers powerful, give you victory, and release blessings. Therefore, speak in faith.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I speak in faith, let Your power be manifested in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen
