Our Statement of Faith

We believe :

• THE BIBLE: We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority in matters of faith and conduct. No one has the authority to add to it or take from it except at their peril - 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21, 2 Peter 3:2.
  
  
• THE GODHEAD ALSO AS KNOWN AS TRINITY: We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons - Father, Son (also known as the word), and Holy Ghost (Also known as Holy Spirit, Spirit of God) and that these three are God. - Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 14:16.
  
  
• THE CHURCH (THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST): We believe that the church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Ghost and made new creations in Christ Jesus by accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour - Acts 1:31, Ephesians 5:25, Romans 12:5, Ephesians 4:4.
  
  
• THE ONLY ONE SAVIOUR: We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and resurrection of (only) Jesus Christ (the son of God) all who believe are saved from the penalty and power of sin and are children of God. - John 1:12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-13.
  
  
• THE HEALER: We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer of the body and that all who walk in obedience to His will can claim divine healing for their bodies. We believe Jesus had healed those who believe in the past, is still healing and will still heal many and He is more than willing to heal anybody suffering from any kind of diseases including so-called incurable diseases -Exodus 15:26, 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5, James 5:14-15.
  
  
• THE BAPTISER: We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost with the initial physical evidence of speaking in other tongues (glossolalia). This baptism with signs following is promised to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. -Acts 1:8, Matthew 3:11 Mark 15:16-17.
  
  
• LORD JESUS CHRIST THE SOON COMING KING: We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the church and afterward set His throne as King. - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, John 14:3.
  
  
• THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: We believe that every (born again) believer in the Lord Jesus Christ should produce the fruit of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Fait Meekness, and Temperance. - Galatians 5:22-23.
  
  
• THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: We believe that the church should claim and manifest ALL the gifts of the Holy Spirit and ALL the gifts of function - 1 Corinthians 12:1-12, Romans 12:3-8.
• THE MINISTRY: We believe that God has given some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors and some Teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ - Ephesians 4:11-13.
  
  
• THE FUTURE STATE: We believe in the eternal conscious bliss of all true believers in Christ and also in the everlasting conscious punishment of all rejecters of Christ in Hell-Fire. - John 14:1-2, Revelations 20:12-15.
  
  
• Heaven and Hell : We believe Heaven and Hell are real and existing places.  - Revelation 21:1-27, John 3:13, 1 Peter 3:18-22, Genesis 1:1, Matthew 10:28, Matthew 5:22, 2 Peter 2:4
  
  
• MIND RENEWAL BY THE WORD OF GOD: We believe every believer must study the word of God and have his mind renewed. -  Romans 12:1-2
  
  
• DIVINE DIRECTION: We believe that every believer must start learning as soon as they accept Christ or as soon as possible how to be led by the Holy Spirit and be in His perfect will. Romans 8:14, Romans 12:1-2
  
  
• THE VOICE OF GOD BEING THE STRONGHOLD OF FAITH: We believe the voice of God is the stronghold of faith and the fastest way to increase or use one's faith is to access the voice of God. That, in order to increase and use one's faith efficiently, every believer must learn how to hear from God from the word of God (Bible, preaching, books, tapes, quiet time...), how to be led by the Holy Spirit (through the inner witness, peace from within...), the diverse ways that God speaks, How to dissociate the voice of God from that of circumstances, how to recognize the voice of God when it comes through circumstances, How to recognize the voice of God when it comes through yourself, how to recognize it when God is speaking through unbelievers or when God is speaking from behind also called the Voice from behind or any other means that God may use to speak at a time. - Isaiah 30:21, Romans 8:14 ...
