«Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves ?» - Luke 22:52
Have you noticed that many murderers are filled with passionate hatred for someone? It is this hatred that drives them to do the unthinkable. They knowingly sentence themselves to life imprisonment and hell. This is madness in full manifestation!
The behaviour of the Pharisees and the accusatory priests can best be described as madness. They were filled with such hatred for the Saviour that they did the unthinkable. They «killed» God on a cross. They were so full of fear that they employed Judas to betray someone who walked around openly.
The role of Judas, as a betrayer, is even more mystical when you consider how Jesus openly whipped the temple dwellers a few days earlier. Their fear of Christ was demonstrated by the kind of army that was sent to arrest one unarmed preacher in a garden.
And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the elders of the people. - Matthew 26:47
Many women have succumbed to raging fears and insecurities and have gradually walked the road of mild to moderate psychosis (mental illness).
I have actually confirmed the diagnosis of mental illness in many Christians but cannot approach them because they have not sought medical help from me.
