Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8

D. L. Moody wrote the following words next to

Isaiah 6:8 in his Bible: “I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do, and what I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do.”

Bishop Charles AgyinasareKingdom service must be our first priority. The people who set their hearts on the Kingdom are favoured by God. He builds up those who take interest in the “stones” to build up His church.

Although Kingdom service has its rewards, that should not be what motivates us. An acceptable service to God is our mandate as believers, and we can express it in the following ways:

#1. Soul winning.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world…” (Matthew 29:19-20). As Kingdom ambassadors, soul winning is our primary directive, and we should constantly seek ways to depopulate hell and populate heaven.

#2. Engaging in physical stewardship.
“You know that Stephanas and his household were the first of the harvest of believers in Greece, and they are spending their lives in service to God's people…” (1 Corinthians 16:15, NLT). Stephanas and his household were followers of Christ. They set themselves aside for this specific service of meeting the needs of God's people. That should be our example.

#3. Making our finances and material things available for God’s use.
As God’s servants, we must be willing to give what we possess according to God’s will (2 Corinthians 8:1-7).

Precious one, as you avail yourself to God for His use, may many lives be touched through your obedience!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to impact Your Kingdom through my service, in Jesus' name
