«And Elijah said, Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one escape. They seized them, and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and [as God's law required] slew them there.» READ 1 Kings 18:40-42
#1. BIND THE STRONG MAN
After bringing them down to the brook Kishon, Elijah slew them there. You must bind the strong man right on the spot. Do not pospone it. All demons, principalities harassing your destiny, they are the one you must attack first. Attack them and use the authority God has already giving you through your acceptance of Christ that made you born again to bind them. Before you go to God and ask of the rain, the first step is to bind the enemy who may stop the rain. The Lord Jesus puts it this way :
In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house. Mark 3:27 New International Version
Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18 New International VersionBehold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. #2. CANCEL NEGATIVE DECLARATIONS 
When you go through unbelievable challenges in life, the first thing to do is to seize all prophets of Baal (bind the Strong Man) and bring them down. Do not let any of them escape. As Elijah brought them down, you too must learn to cancel any declaration that has been made against your life. Use the Blood of Jesus and cancel all that has been said against you by anybody. Whatever was proclaimed against you, Use the Blood Of Jesus to cancel it.
So the first step is to Bind the strong man And Cancel negative declarations.
