Previously, we explained the fact that a circumstantial curse is a type of generational curse that causes one to find himself in the same circumstances that his forefathers may have found themselves in the past or causes one to find himself in similar negative repeated circumstances he may have been through. We also gave a number of signs that shows that one may be under a circumstantial curse.
5. But how to break or revoke a Circumstantial Curse?
Galatians 3:13-14 «Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.»
1. You must be born again. To break any curse, the first requirement is to be born again. Unless you are born again, you are still part of the Satanic kingdom and have not yet been translated to the Kingdom of light.
Colossians 1:13. who has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and you will be born again, you will be a legitimate child of God. Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and becoming born again is compulsory. Except you are born again, you can NOT see the kingdom of God. John 3:3. You must be born again. If you desire to be born again pray this prayer :
God I know I am a sinner and I believe Jesus is the son of God and He died for my sins and rose on the third day for my justification. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I accept to benefit from his finished work on the cross. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, then you are born again, you have now become a legitimate child of God for Bible says in
John 1:12, NKJV. But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He (Jesus) gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Have you just prayed and said in the prayer that you received Jesus as Lord? According to John 1:12, what does that make you? A child of God, a saved person. When you accept Jesus as Lord, you automatically become a Child of God, a saved person.
Romans 10:9-10, NIV, If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
2. Be led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead you out of any demonic or fleshly situation, out of any circumstantial curse. Bible says in
Romans 8:1, 14. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Galatians 5:16.. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
You must learn the diverse ways the Holy Spirit speaks. However, note that to be led by the Holy Spirit, you must learn the diverse ways the Holy Spirit speaks to identify how He speaks particularly to you. That is how you will know YOUR GOD, be STRONG and do EXPLOITS. Daniel 11:32
3. Pray violent prayers. Circumstantial curses are demonic circumstances that are being enforced on you by Satan and his devils. Satan only understands one language and that is the language of power. Unless you violently command Satan to take his hands off you and circumstances around you, he will always be attempting to.
Matthew 11:12. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
Luke 10:19. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Violently exercise your authority against the Devil in prayer. Use the blood and the name of Jesus Do you want to stop going in a circle about a particular issue or a circumstance that your fathers or you may have been through in the past? Violently exercise your authority against the Devil who is making you go round in a circle until you use the blood of Jesus to break that cycle in JESUS' NAME.
Prayer points :
- Father, I thank you for this teaching. Grant me the grace to read it again and again until I understand it fully.
- Every circumstantial covenant of my fathers against me, I break it now in the name of Jesus.
- The blood of Jesus has been paid for any circumstantial curse, therefore, I refuse to find myself henceforth in the same negative situation my fathers may have found themselves in.
- I refuse to go on and on in a negative cycle and I come out of every negative or demonic cycle and I enter into the perfect will of God for me.
- Satan, I command you in the name of Jesus, take your hands off circumstances around me and I command that may all circumstances work together for my good according to Romans 8:28 which says that All things work together for my good.
